Feb 24- Arizona took the field on Saturday for an important conference matchup, taking on San Diego State at Sitton Field as the team looked to win their second straight.

The Wildcats' focus was to play in the opponents half, and that strategy paid off early with two tries from Molly Chisholm in the centers. Scrums were once again a weapon for the Wildcats, allowing the home side to pick from the base of the scrum and get on the front foot early and often. A 21-5 halftime margin in favor of the Wildcats would enable Head Coach Tatum Quimby to rotate in players itching to make a contribution, and that group helped pick things up in attack in the second half. Aspen Wresinske's quick tap off of a penalty would help the Wildcats crack 40 points for a second straight week, while second half linebreaks by Melody Chu and Lila Ortega would keep the momentum rolling. The beneficiary for the Wildcats would be Chisholm, as the second-year center scored four tries in total and added ten more points off the tee to make it a 30 point effort. Lila Ortega's two tries rounded out the 47-31 victory, making it two in a row for the Wildcats.

The win moves Arizona to 3-1 on the year with a road trip to UC-San Diego up next this coming weekend.
