Nov 7- Arizona has announced the side that will make the trip to Tempe tomorrow for an in-state clash with Arizona State.

The Wildcats have made a number of changes and will look to build on last weekend's victory over #14 Cal Poly. Up front, the new-look front row of Jack Kerrigan, Logan Shea, and Marcus Harris will look to set the tone and seize an opportunity to start after strong performances so far in the Fall. The back row is another area of change with Sean McNulty moving into the lineup at Number Eight.

In the backs, the 9-10 combo of Connor McIsaac and Lance Barker will be joined by Seth Catchpole and Brody Johnson in the centers, while Ethan Heim will make his first start on the right wing. "We're giving a couple guys an opportunity that have put in some serious work and performed well in training and in matches. We are looking to build our depth out for the long season. Lance and Ethan may be first-year guys, but in this program if you are good enough, you are old enough. From day one they've been working hard, taking coaching, and buying in. They're the first of many that will crack the 1s eventually from what's a strong class" said Director of Rugby Sean Duffy. The Arizona recruiting class will also be featured in the 2nd XV, with the Wildcats fresh off a win over Utah Valley's 1st XV last week. Carter Hertstein will captain the side from the Hooker position while Jimmy O'Connor will support him as vice captain from Fullback.

ASU is just getting their season underway, using Saturday to prepare them for the DIAA season ahead. While a rivalry game on paper, this is another important step for both programs as they close out the Fall. "ASU is one of our partners, and we are both working to grow the game in this state as two of the three public institutions. NAU joins us in that, having gotten back on the schedule this year and we look forward to continuing to compete on the field while working together off of it to make the game better for the next generation as we build towards hosting the 2031 Rugby World Cup" said Duffy.

The match will not be broadcast, but fans can catch the action in person at 1 PM here.
