Jan 26- Arizona will commence a new chapter in their history on Saturday February 3rd when they will debut their 2018 kit.

The 2018 design was unveiled today, a product of the agreement struck between the team and Nike in 2017. While Arizona is not a part of intercollegiate athletics, this agreement puts the program in line with the university's partnership with Nike which runs until 2025. The Wildcats previously partnered with Canterbury.

The kit includes both a home and away set, featuring state of the art technology from the world leader in sport. "Thrilled to be debuting this kit and incredibly grateful to the team at Nike for putting this together for us. While they are not officially in Rugby outside of the national team of Argentina, this will allow them to have a presence in the world's fastest growing sport, and allow us to spread their brand to our fantastic fans and alumni' said Head Coach Sean Duffy. "We're incredibly thankful to Canterbury as well for working with us the past few seasons, and we will keep a strong relationship with them as we move forward, partnering on other items in the Rugby sphere to ensure they stay a member of our team. The Wildcats have a rich history of playing kit, from the long sleeve days, to thick cotton jerseys, to our classic Red & Blue stripe, to our Dave Sitton tribute jerseys. We are excited to have these be the next chapter as we build on the great foundation laid by those who come before us."

The 12th-ranked Wildcats currently sit at their highest ranking in five years and are 1-0 on the season, having defeated #19 Grand Canyon University 53-22 on January 12th. This new playing strip debut will take place on a big stage, as next up for Arizona is a showdown with UCLA at the StubHub Center as a curtain raiser for USA-Argentina on February 3rd. The Los Angeles Chargers stadium will convert to a Rugby pitch for AEG's International Rugby Saturday, with tickets available here.
